Cheryl Hanks, PT, MHSc, MTC, PMA-CPT, Owner
Cheryl brings nearly 3 decades of clinical experience to her therapy practice. She specializes in the treatment of chronic pain and manual therapy. She has a passion for her career, and has dedicated herself to ongoing continuing education so that each visit to her facility brings progress toward your goals. Cheryl received a Bachelor of Science in PT from CSULB in 1988, her Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St. Augustine in 1996, and a Master of Health Science from the University of St. Augustine in 2005. When not at work, Cheryl enjoys an active lifestyle, staying fit, gardening, and taking care of her children.

Maile Bay, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Maile graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2006. She became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2008. She received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Southern California in 2009. Her treatment approach emphasizes functional therapeutic exercise, movement science, Pilates, and Manual Therapy. Maile is also a member of the APTA.
Maile enjoys an active lifestyle of dance, Pilates and running. In addition to her education, it is through participating in these activities that she has developed a passion for the biomechanics of the human body. She is prepared to help her patients succeed along the road of recovery here at Excel Physical Therapy.

Ian Pamintuan, PTA
Ian Pamintuan received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science and Fitness from San Francisco State University. Post undergraduate, he worked as a Lead Physical Therapy Aide for many years. Realizing that his passion would contribute greatly in the healing journey of others, Ian later returned to school and graduated from Ohlone College Physical Therapist Assistant Program in May of 2016. Ian looks forward to building his professional foundation in manual therapy and movement science with Excel PT. In addition he would like to be certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Rock Steady Boxing Coach to help individuals with Parkinson Disease. Outside of physical therapy, Ian enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new places to eat, watching a good movie, and traveling.
